How to Play Blackjack

The goal
Try to finish with a hand value closer to 21 than the dealer without going over 21.
Card values
Number cards use their face value. Tens and face cards count as 10. An ace can usually count as 1 or 11 depending on the hand.
Common buttons
- Hit: take another card.
- Stand: keep your current hand.
- Double: increase the wager under the table rules and take the specified additional action.
- Split: if allowed, separate a matching starting pair into two hands under the table rules.

Dealer drawing rules, blackjack payouts, doubling, splitting and side bets can differ by table. Read the in-game rules before betting.
